To develop the system, the background noise of level of the GPS is examined by changing the distance between reference point and measuring point. Also, the accuracy of the system in monitoring displacements is examined through the experimentation. A GPS antenna is mounted on the model, and a laser displacement transducer is set to measure the actual displacement. The displacement monitored by GPS agrees well with the actual displacement. Then, performance of the monitoring system is demonstrated in the full-scale monitoring of the 66-story mix
