Successful BIM cases of leading countries promotes internal BIM industry and development of BIM guideline. However, rapid spread from external factors without securing internal capabilities could make problems of invigorating BIM. In order to solve that problem this study implemented BIM capability evaluation targeting 5 domestic and foreign design firms. From the evaluation, it results that some gap among design firms which perform BIM exists and performing BIM doesn’t ensure BIM capabilities. This fact show
